Creating your baby registry is part of preparing for your new little one to come. Your list can grow massive when you see all of the products out there meant to make your life easier. Though there are lots of options out there, as a third time mama, I’ve narrowed down the list of what I found to be the best baby products that are worth the splurge.
Snuggle Them Up With The Ollie World Swaddle
If you don’t know yet as a first time mama, babies love to be swaddled as newborns. The snugness reminds them of being in the womb and typically can help them sleep well. The Ollie World Swaddle is known as the Smarter Swaddle™ as it is made with parents in mind.
Made from a custom moisture-wicking material, the swaddle is crafted to allow a custom fit for each baby. Big baby, small baby, no problem. The one-size swaddle promotes ease with transitional stages and aims to reduce the risk of overheating. With an opening at the bottom of the swaddle, diaper changes are a breeze since you don’t have to unwrap your little one.
The swaddle comes in a super cute woodland box which also includes a garment bag to wash the swaddle in. This is super handy as I was worried the velcro on the swaddle would stick to all the other baby clothes when it came time to wash it. The swaddle is super soft which is perfect for baby’s fresh new skin. If you’re interested in snagging a swaddle for yourself, you can save 10% by ordering through my link here. Shop Easy with Binxy Baby
About a year after I had Max, I heard about the Binxy Baby. A parent clearly had to have invented this product because shopping with a car seat in the cart is just not practical. The Binxy Baby is a Target mom’s dream come true as it fits most standard grocery store carts and can hold a combined car seat/baby weight of 50 pounds. That’s pretty impressive.
The Binxy Baby has been safety tested of course and can be used until your baby can sit up on their own in the seat of the cart. Since my boys have all been late sitters, having a product like this for them would have been a huge help when shopping.
Pulling it out of the box, Binxy Baby feels super sturdy and like it is made of high-quality fabric. I seriously can’t wait to get our new little guy lounging in it while I browse the aisles of Target once more. Co-Sleeping with a DockATot
If you’re expecting or a new mom, you’ve probably seen the DockATot floating around the web at least once. The DockATot is all the rage as the latest, greatest multi-functional lounger and co-sleeper. You all know, I’m no stranger to co-sleeping. My three year old is still in our bed and has been since day one.
I tried out multiple co-sleeper options when I had Max but they just didn’t feel safe enough for me to use. The DockATot is definitely a game changer for me as it feels sturdy and safe. It’s all natural, 100% cotton, handmade in Europe and it has been OEKO-TEX certified and tested for breathability. That’s more than those other co-sleepers can vouch for.
The DockATot comes in two sizes, the Deluxe for 0-8 months and the Grand for 9-36 months. Obviously, I snagged the Deluxe for our newest addition to lounge in but I hope to get my hands on a Grand for our 3 year old. They are a great option for transitioning toddlers to their own beds which we desperately need. The DockATot also comes with extra covers for purchase you can change it up whenever you feel like it.

Keep the Nursery Clean & Stylish with a Lorena Canals Rug
If you live in a house you don’t own like I do, you can’t easily change much in the nursery. This is where your interior design skills have to come into play. Other than the crib, the biggest centerpiece of our nursery is a Lorena Canals Rug. The nursery is a monochrome and wood theme so finding the perfect rug was a must.
Lorena Canals Rugs are not only natural but they are machine washable. Yes, all parents reading this are rejoicing. The ability to have a rug in a child’s room without worrying about dry cleaning puke stains out is a miracle. The rugs, though designed in Spain, are made in India with the proceeds supporting the Sakula project.
I went with a black and white cactus stamp print rug and couldn’t be happier. The rug is made with natural dyes, eco-friendly, and contain no VOCs like most carpeting and rugs. That means no worries about toxins while my little guy’s is enjoying tummy time. The rug is easy to move and feels similar to a heavy knit blanket so I have no concerns tossing it in the washer if needed.
Though I went with a rug for my little man’s nursery, Lorena Canals Rugs does offer more sophisticated designs for adult spaces as well.
With lots of baby products out there that catch your eye, not all of them are worth the money. I can say that all of these products are high quality are totally worth splurging on.
