Phone cases are one thing I tend to go through quite frequently and no, its not because I break them, I just get tired of the design. If Otterbox or LifeProof could come out with attractive looking cases then maybe I’d consider dropping $100+ on one of their cases but in the mean time, I will stick with my cheaper, cuter cases.
Recently I was sent a Mayan Case for free in exchange for an honest review. I had never heard of the Mayan case but it looked cute so I thought I would give it a shot. Upon receiving the product I found out that the case is handmade with Mayan fabric on the back and comes with a 2 year limited warranty.
PIN IT!I slid off the case I currently had on my iPhone 6 and snapped this one on. The case fits very well on my iPhone and has fairly easy access to the ports and microphone. The case has a nice lip on the front which is a must have for saving your screen in case of a drop. Lastly the button covers work great and there is no hesitation or hard pressing for the buttons to respond with this case.
The only “downfall” that I didn’t like is the fraying of the fabric all around the sides of the phone. Nothing has run or been damaged but still is a little unappealing. Overall the case is a great and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to purchase a new case.
