With the hundreds of different diets and ways of eating healthy out there today, finding places to eat can be tough for some. I am a big fan of carbs. Always have been and always will be. If you would love to eat more noodles but worried you can’t then the Noodles & Company’s new dishes are for you too!
Noodles’ new dishes
I personally have eaten at Noodles & Company before but because I was counting my macros, it wouldn’t fit in my meal prep easily. However, now that Noodles & Company has expanded their menu, they are bringing new flavors and options to the table. Let’s get to those dishes now, shall we?
Zucchini & Asparagus with Lemon Sauce
When I saw this dish being offered on the menu I was pretty excited. I love lemon based dishes. The spiraled zucchini noodles and asparagus are wrapped up in a tangy lemon cream sauce which my taste buds were ready for. I will say I liked this dish but the lemon is a bit strong, so keep that in mind when ordering.
Zucchetti Garlic & Wine Sauce with Balsamic Chicken
If you aren’t all gung-ho about eating straight zoodles in your dish, there are other options like the Zucchetti Garlic & Wine Sauce with Balsamic Chicken. This dish has a combination of zucchini and spaghetti noodles in a white wine garlic sauce. Sounds simple but this pasta is packed with balsamic chicken, roasted zucchini, Roma tomatoes, spinach, onion, basil, parmesan, and lemon.
This pasta dish is the one that caught me totally off guard. I fell in love at first bite. It had the right balance of everything without overpowering one flavor for another. This dish is hands down new go to! You can also leave out the chicken if you want a complete vegetarian option.
Gluten-Friendly Pipette Mac & Cheese
I’ll be honest, I find most gluten free foods gross. They taste well like cardboard, tasteless and hard. Imagine my surprise when I took a bite of this mac and cheese and expected to be disappointed again only to find it was bomb dot com. Yes, I did just say that.
It was creamy, it was cheesy, it was everything I would want to eat in a gluten-free pasta if that was a dietary concern of mine. Totally give it 5 stars! Oh, and if you aren’t a cheese lover(blasphemy) you can substitute any dish for the new gluten-friendly pipette shells.
Speaking of custom ordering, Noodles launched a new Dietary Calculator that helps you stick to whatever way of eating you prefer. Don’t like asparagus, swap it out! Want lighter sauce, state that! I love how you can customize any dish with the calculator to make it fit your dietary needs.
Overall, Noodles made a smart move by making it even tastier to eat healthy without sacrificing flavor. Noodles for everyone!
