Fruit Pizza Bagel for Toddlers + Giveaway

Fruit Pizza Bagel

We all know that snacks are a toddler’s best friend. They will literally push away their favorite foods and ask for a snack immediately before touching that “yucky” plate. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to find food that can be disguised as snacks for toddlers.

Choosing something unprocessed our toddler likes was easy to incorporate was where we started. Ultimately we decided it was Arla Cream Cheese. Arla Cream Cheese is free of artificial flavors, preservatives, and added hormones*. The best part? You’re not sacrificing taste and if anything you’re gaining a lot more by going unprocessed.

Why Unprocessed?

Fruit Pizza BagelWe try to live as unprocessed as we can, especially when it comes to dairy. Most dairy products commonly contain crazy sounding ingredients like xanthan, rBST and sorbic acid. Arla even had a group of kids draw what they thought these ingredients would look and you’d be surprised. I asked my kiddos the same questions to see what they would come up with. As you see below, something that scary shouldn’t be in our toddler’s tummies.

Arla is a farm-to-fridge dairy, meaning their cream cheese(and other products) come directly from Arla’s very own proud farmers. Arla Cream Cheese is made with four ingredients that are easy to pronounce. Cream, milk, cheese culture, and salt…yes, that’s it. For comparison, Original Philadelphia cream cheese has 11 ingredients, yikes! This makes Arla a better option for better nutrition for our littles with only 60 calories and 5 grams of fat a serving.

Fruit Pizza Bagel

Fruit Pizza BagelMaking a fruit pizza bagel is probably the easiest snack you can make for a toddler. It’s so easy your toddler can even help out and create their own. My little guys love “cooking” their own food and usually gobble it all up. To start you need a couple of unprocessed bagels which you can grab from most health food stores or better yet, Pinterest can guide the way via recipe. Next, grab your toddler’s favorite fruits and maybe sneak in new ones they’ve never tried. Lastly, grab a tub(or five) of Arla Cream Cheese, you can find a store here, and you’re set.

This is a totally weird idea, but I love it. I’m vegan but unfortunately my kiddos love cheese. And they are true snack fiends. Oh god. It’s so expensive. It kill us. This looks great though.

The concept of the ad is a good one. Everyone can relate to the unpronounceable ingredients list. The behind the scenes video gives good context to the ad. It seems like they put more effort into the video than I though when I watched the ad alone. I initially thought it was just all CG.
