Summer birthdays in Arizona are not like the rest of the country. Most kids would love to have a summer birthday in the warm sun but here, it’s too hot to be outside. My oldest, Evan, has a birthday in the middle of summer so we are always looking for fun indoor venues to host his party. This year, we decided to have his birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese’s and it was worth every penny!
All-Inclusive Party Packages
Chuck E. Cheese’s offers many different packages for all kinds of budgets. We opted for their Mega Super Star Birthday Package which included many awesome options such as UNLIMITED GAMES or 60 Tokens for locations without Play Pass, 9 Helium Balloons, 1000 Bonus Tickets for Birthday Star, Exclusive Birthday Star Play Band, Collectible cup with FREE refills for the life of the cup per child, Goody Bag per child, Coil wristband per child at locations with Play Pass, and Dippin’ Dots ice cream per child.
Fun fact about Chuck E. Cheese’s party packages is that you only need a minimum of 4 children to book a party and you have up to 24 hours before the party to change the headcount. This is a huge advantage for kid’s parties as every parent knows, things happen and guests need to cancel at the last minute. Also, if you have a shy kid, having a small party is still an option without having to cancel.
Bonus! If you reserve a VIP Party on Saturday or Sunday for your birthday celebration and get the whole party area to yourself at the earliest timeslot before the restaurant opens, for one hour!
With every party that’s booked, the birthday child gets a chance to experience the infamous ticket blaster with the chance to win the Magic Ticket. Each Magic Ticket is worth 500 tickets! Evan was able to take a friend in with him and had one minute to grab all the tickets they could. All his party guests were chanting them on and it was fun to watch their faces light up over all the tickets surrounding them. They were able to snag 100 extra tickets in the end.
I personally haven’t been to Chuck E. Cheese’s in almost ten years so I was thoroughly impressed to find a loaded menu compared to the pizza only memories I had previously. All of the birthday guests received two slices of pizza and a collectible cup with free refills. For the adults, we ordered a stuffed crust pizza, wings, and a sampler platter. All of the food was delicious and so much tastier than I expected.
Don’t think they forgot about the cake either because they didn’t! Chuck E. Cheese’s now offers new cakes with the choice of an edible image! You can choose from Chuck E., Batman, Barbie, Paw Patrol and more! Kiddo not a fan of cake? No problem! Chuck E. Cheese’s also offers Ice cream, Dippin’ dots, and Giant Warm Chocolate Chip Cookies as an option.
All You Can Play Pass
The birthday boy’s favorite option of the whole party was the all you can play pass. With the Chuck E. Cheese’s play pass you can set an allotted time amount for your little’s the play which is a great way to keep the party moving. We gave the boys a 1-hour time limit and let them roam free to rack up all the tickets they could. The birthday star and party guests will enjoy tapping to play their favorite kids games – a great value and so convenient (no need to keep loading points on the card)!
As you can see Chuck E. Cheese’s is America’s number one place for birthdays. Use their easy online reservation system and Chuck E. Cheese’s can do all the set up for the birthday party, from goody bags to balloons and cakes! Just bring yourself and birthday star – they will take care of the rest!
