Once your kid hits those preteen years it seems they fall in love with video games and technology. However, playing video games can get old quickly so I’ve found a new way to keep your little gamer busy during quarantine.
How to Keep Your Little Gamer Busy During Quarantine
As someone who has a degree in computer technology, I love it when my boys want to learn more about what I do in this tech-heavy world. I see it as it is a great opportunity to teach your kiddo new skills! What if I told you there were online weekly camps with real instructors that could guide the way for your child? It sounds like a great way to keep your little gamer busy during quarantine, doesn’t it?
iD Tech Virtual Tech Camps
iD Tech is the world’s #1 STEM summer program for ages 7-17 and though you may be thinking, okay, that sounds kind of boring, just wait. With years of experience, iD Tech has transformed your kiddos love for video games, into a foundation for learning.
Who is iD Tech for?
Does your child love Minecraft? Roblox? Fortnite? YouTube? If the answer is yes, these camps are perfect for them. If your child is more interested in coding languages, 3D printing, or game development in general, iD Tech is still a great option for them too!
Do They Offer Online Private Lessons?
Yes! In addition to their flagship iD Tech Camps, they also offer all-girls camps, pre-collegiate teen-only Academies, an advanced capstone experience, and year-round Online Private Lessons. All of their programs offer STEM skills employers will look at the future aka a step toward their potential dream career.
With new classes starting weekly, now is the best time to enroll your kids and keep them busy for a week(or more!) especially if you are a work at home parent now. My oldest took the Roblox camp and hasn’t stopped talking about it and building more and more to his “obi” via coding he learned. I am so excited to sign him up for more lessons throughout the summer that I want to offer all you other parents out there a discount. Using my iD Tech link and the promo code “JESS125” you can get $125 your first camp!
Once your kiddo has started or completed their week, come back and let me know what you think!
