“Though this post is sponsored, all thoughts and opinions are my own.”
Santa is all about the experience and Chandler Fashion Center has partnered with HGTV to present Santa HQ. Families are invited to experience the wonder of Santa’s workshop in the digital age. Exciting interactive technology transforms and customizes the experience. This past Friday we were able to experience a the Headquarters in person and it was spectacular!
HGTV’s Santa HQ
The Santa HQ is beautifully decorated and perfectly fitting for the big man himself. Before entering, we downloaded the interactive Elf-Ray Vision app to discover all the hidden gems throughout. Even at the entrance, we were greeted by 2 friendly digital elves!
We excitedly made our way in to be greeted by a real elf and guided to the digital Naughty or Nice O’Meter. The boys each made their way on the platform and awaited their fate. Thankfully both the boys passed on the nice list and we continued on our journey into Santa’s Workshop to snap an “Elfie Selfie” and make our own holiday video below. Fun fact, you can have this video emailed to you after to use as a Holiday Greeting.
Max was ready to see Santa so we headed around the corner to be greeted by smiling elves and the big man in red with arms wide open. The boys hopped up on his lap and told him every toy they could think of for Christmas. The elves tried to capture a few photos of the boys with Santa but Max was infatuated with Santa while Evan was smiling as big and goofy as he could. Thankfully we got a passable photo to cherish for years to come.
This engaging new visit with Santa using digital tools to offer an augmented reality environment and a new, enhanced social media experience for families is a great way to experience the holidays. From now until December 24, you can discover the holiday wonderment in the Macy’s Court at Chandler Fashion Center. They also offer photo packages starting at $34.99. As an added bonus, guests can start to make reservations with the man of the hour now by visiting www.santa-hq.com/reservations.
Shoppers also are invited to bring in an unwrapped toy and participate in Help Through Holiday Giving. Chandler Fashion Center hopes to gather 1000 toys to be donated to the Salvation Army’s Forgotten Angel Program. In 2016, HGTV’s Help Through Holiday Giving program collected over 66,000 toys benefiting local organizations like Forgotten Angel Tree, Salvation Army Angel Tree, Toys for Tots, and Spark of Love Stuff a Bus.
What a fun experience! I love that the visit with Santa is interactive. I hope they meet the goal of 1,000 toys to help local kids have a magical Christmas.
This is such a cool area to meet Santa. I wish we had something like this nearby. I hope 1000 + toys is donated!
This looks like so much fun! My kids would love it. I love that you can donate toys too!
Gorgeous pic of your kids with Santa. I’m sure they’ll reach their toy goal. I still believe in Christmas miracles. Well that and I’m in charge of our church’s giving tree. We received a rather unusual request this year. A request for a saxophone from one of the foster kids. I’ve reached out to several musicians in the community and I am hoping for a Christmas miracle as well.
This looks like so much fun. My kids would love to go to something like this. They love all things Christmas.
I will have to see if they have something like this close to me. My girls would love it!
Love HGTV and how lucky for you to live so close to go and see this advent. Bet it was spectacular. We are at the North Pole visiting Santa.
This looks like a really wonderful place to visit Santa. We don’t have one of those near us, but we do visit Santa every year! Never miss it!
The smiles on the kid’s faces say it all. Looks like they had a fun time visiting Santa. I love that there is a charitable component to this event, especially during the holiday season.
This is an awesome way to meet Santa, I like that you can make reservations. It’s great that you can bring an unwrapped toy to donate.
With Santa on Center Court, BB’s sure they’ll reach their toy goals. Loving the way Santa is incorporating tech into his watch. Then again, with so many kid, guess he had to didn’t he? Hope our local mall has something at least 1/2 as cool for The Grands. BB2U
I love that this offers an augmented reality component! It sounds like a lot of fun. My kids always get excited to see Santa!
Looks like a lovely day out and a really fun one. That Santa is a proper one, no cheap suit or shiny fake beard for him, he’s lovely! Its nice that they had a gift giving charity there as well, great to teach kids about others that aren’t as lucky.
Wow! This is an amazing adventure for kids. Christmas these days is so much more magical than it was for me as a kid.
These are all over the nation, right? What a fun thing to do with the kiddos. Got to see if our mall has this!
You got a really adorable photo! Santa HQ looks like the perfect place to take your kiddos to during the holiday season.
I remember taking my kids to see Santa at the mall when they were still little. I am happy that kids today can enjoy the same experience.
