The thought of people staring at your teeth while you’re talking is one of the most uncomfortable feelings ever. You wonder, do I have something in my teeth? The reality is, it might not be food, it might be the color of your teeth. Yikes! Lucky for you however, there are many options out there to teach you how to whiten your teeth at home.
How to Whiten Your Teeth at Home
I’ve always been skeptical of at home teeth whitening products ever since I slapped a slimy Crest whitening strip on my teeth for 14 days straight and noticed no change. Yes, most of you know what I’m talking about. Smile Brilliant reach out to me to partner up and see what I thought of their whitening kit. Since I’m such a skeptic and my contact(Delaney) was so adamant about the quality, I decided to give it a shot. If it failed then it failed and if it worked then great!
Smile Brilliant
My Smile Brilliant kit instructions were extremely easy to follow. All you have to do it mix putting, get a good impression of your teeth and ship those babies back to them. After a few days, your custom trays are ready to go and are shipped back your way. Once you have your new trays, you can start the teeth whitening process. If you have sensitive teeth like I do, have no fear! They offer a sensitive kit option as well to minimize any discomfort you may have. Honestly, I didn’t have any issues at all. Having my teeth professionally whitened before, the nerve pain took 18 hours to wear off and believe me, it was torture!
Following the Routine
I decided the best time for me to keep my teeth whitening routine on track was to do it every night once everyone was in bed. I’d turn on one of my shows and watch away until it was time to take the trays out and brush my teeth. Unfortunately, I did get a stomach virus which delayed my whitening process but at the end of my treatment, I was amazed! My teeth were noticeably whiter and it was a pain free process. I didn’t have to go sit in an office, didn’t have to suffer through nerve pain, nothing. I got to relax in my bed on my own time while whitening my teeth.
My Results
Since I had such a great experience, I had to share my results with you all. Below are my before and afters to show the difference. Please know, I tried everything to recreate the same lighting for both photos but clearly I failed. However, you can see the difference in the coloring regardless.
