As moms, we all love our children dearly. They are our world…but sometimes, the non-stop activities of the day burn us out. Here are my favorite things to do when mama needs a time out.
Read a Book
Find a space somewhere in your house where you can sit quietly to read while being able to see your kiddos at the same time. Let them watch an episode of one of their favorite tv shows while you indulge your mind in your current read.
Dive Into Your Yoga Practice
If there is one thing that always clears my mind and helps bring me back to center its yoga. The best part about this is even if you can’t escape to practice, you can teach your kids how to utilize yoga as well. You can include them in your practice which they will love!

Eat a Snack
No seriously, sneak off to the bathroom and eat. a. snack. Something as simple as sitting alone for 5 minutes eating a snack can be so helpful when mama needs a time out. Lately, my favorite snacks to sneak off with are the new Farm Rich Time Outs™.

Farm Rich Time Outs™
Packed with protein (up to 21 grams a serving!), Farm Rich Time Outs™ are the perfect tasty snack for one to refuel you throughout the day. There are four different snacks (Fiesta Chicken Roll-ups + Mild Poblano Ranch Sauce, Pepperoni Pizza Roll-ups + Marinara Sauce, Boneless Chicken Bites + Sweet BBQ Sauce, Mozzarella Bites + Marinara Sauce) and they all heat up in the microwave using the box they are packaged in.

You can find Time Outs in the freezer aisle at select Walmart (and Publix!) stores for around $3.49-$4.49 each. Believe me, they are worth it.
